Sports fans have something to cheer about and root for their team at All-Star Sports Resort featuring five sports-inspired themed areas – Football, Surfing, Basketball, Tennis and Baseball.  This resort complex offers approximately  1,920 rooms with oversized and wonderful sports theming.

Theming includes:

• Football –  3 story touchdown buildings surround a giant football field with helmet-covered stairwells
• Surfing  – Hang ten at the Surf’s Up area adorned with surfboards, snappers and 38-ft shark fins
• Basketball- Hoops hotel is decorated with a 60 ft long whistle and basketballs waiting to slam dunk
• Tennis – 55 ft racquets and 5 ft balls adorn this area as well as tennis can covered stairwells
• Baseball – Batter up with brilliant stadium lights and bats at the Home Run Hotel with Goofy on the pitcher’s mound.

All of the rooms found at the All-Star Sports Resort have either 2 double beds or one king sized bed and are approximately 260 sq ft. Maximum capacity for each room is 4 or 4 plus a small child user the age of 3 in a crib.   Each room features brightly colored theming according to the area you are staying in and offer a small refrigerator, nightstand, wall mirror, armoire, table and 2 chairs, an open closet area, wall safe and a vanity with a single sink that is separate from the bathroom area.

The Touchdown! and Surf’s Up buildings are the “preferred” areas of the resort, are the closest to the main building and are offered at a higher nightly rate than the Hoops Hotel, Home Run Hotel and Center Court areas.  If you prefer a quiet area with less traffic, the Hoops Hotel and Center Court can be requested.  Surf’s Up section is also closest to the bus stops.

Dining 

End Zone Food Court – Located in the heart of Cinema Hall, this quick-service sports-themed food court offers 55- seats and 5 food stations including pizza and pasta, grilled items, barbecue ribs, traditional favorites, deli selections, bakery items and ice cream.  Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and a variety of snacks, the world Premier Food Court is open everyday until midnight and serves breakfast until 11:00 am. Widescreen televisions feature Disney animated shows during your dining time.

Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar – Located next to the Fantasia Pool, this brightly colored kiosks offers specialty adult cocktails, draft beer, wine and sangria for its guests who want to relax and unwind while the kiddos splash in the pool.  One of the favorites is the Skinny Girl Mojito.  It’s delish!

In-Room Pizza Delivery – Order an easy meal the whole family will enjoy and have it delivered directly to your room.  Pizzas, wings, desserts and beverage are delivered right to your door from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am at the All-Star Movies Resort.

Amenities

Pools – Cool off in either one of two themed pools that are overflowing with fun.  The Surfboard Bay is the main pool at the resort and is located between the Surf’s Up area and Stadium Hall.  Shaped like a giant wave, the pool and the surrounding area is decorated with surfboards and giant shark fins.

Located in front of the Home Run Hotel is where you will find the Grand Slam pool that is shaped like a baseball diamond and offers and outfield sun deck area.  Goofy sprays water from the pitcher’s mound.  Unlike some of the other resorts on the Walt Disney property, this resort does not offer any water slides or hot tubs for its guests.

Playground – Located between the Buildings 1 and 6, kids can run and play in a safe environment featuring soft and textured surfaces, swings, tunnels and slides designed just for them.

The Gam Point Arcade – Open from 7:00 am to 1:00 am, this arcade offers state-of-the-art video games for kids enjoyment. The games require a Game Card that can be obtained at the kiosk in the arcade, are rechargeable and can be used at other Disney resorts.  Guests with a Magic Your Way package receive 100 credits for gaming. Some of the games in the The Game Point Arcade reward players with tickets that can be redeemed for prizes.

Movies Under the Stars – Cozy up under the stars for a nighttime movie outdoors at the Surfboard Bay Pool. Movies vary from night to night and a schedule can be obtained at the Guest Services desk in Stadium Hall.

Shopping

Sport Goofy’s Gifts & Sundries – Located in the heart of Stadium Hall, this shop features Disney merchandise including apparel and accessories, plush and toys, housewares and gifts and other Disney themed items.  You can also purchase snacks, candy, photo supplies, sundries and other travel necessities.  Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available too.  Sport Goofy’s is conveniently open daily from 7:00 am to 11:30 pm daily.  Guests staying in the All-Star Sports Resort can also have any of their purchases made in the park delivered to their resort for pick up in this location.

Services

Disney Bus Transportation – The All-Star Sports resort shares it’s bus system with the All-Star Music and All-Star Music resorts.  The bus stop is located in front of Stadium Hall and Sport Goofy’s Gifts & Sundries and transports guests to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom.  The buses also transport guests to Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and Downtown Disney.  Guests that are trying to get to the Boardwalk area will either have to board a bus that is heading towards a park or Downtown Disney and transfer to a Boardwalk marked bus.
