Celebrate some of Disney’s classic films at the All-Star Movies Resort featuring five film-inspired themed areas – Fantasia, 101 Dalmatians, Toy Story Mighty Ducks and The Love Bug. This resort complex offers 1,920 rooms with over 380 rooms in each section each graced with oversized and wonderful theming.
- Fantasia – Giant Sorcerer’s hat, oversized brooms and buckets, spell book and nutcracker soldiers
- Toy Story – Green Army Men, 25-foot tall Woody, 30-foot tall Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Bo Peep and RC
- 101 Dalmatians – 40-foot Pongo, 35-foot Perdita, pups on the railings and fire hydrant covered stairwells
- Herbie The Love Bug – VW Beetle that is 5 times its regular size, mechanics tools and a Winner’s Circle
- Mighty Ducks – 31-foot duck-billed goalie masks, giant hockey sticks, pucks and goal nets
All of the rooms found at the All-Star Movies Resort have either 2 double beds or one king sized bed and are approximately 260 sq ft. Maximum capacity for each room is 4 or 4 plus a small child user the age of 3 in a crib. Each room features brightly colored theming according to the area you are staying in and offer a small refrigerator, nightstand, wall mirror, armoire, table and 2 chairs, an open closet area, wall safe and a vanity with a single sink that is separate from the bathroom area.
The Toy Story, Fantasia and 101 Dalmatians areas are considered the “preferred” areas of the resort, are the closest to the main building and are offered at a higher nightly rate than the Love Bug and Mighty Ducks area. If you prefer a quiet area with less traffic, the Love Bug area is ideal. The Mighty Ducks area also offers less traffic and a smaller and much quieter Duck Pond pool area.
World Premier Food Court – Located in the heart of Cinema Hall, this quick-service cinema-themed food court offers 5 stations including pizza and pasta, grilled items, traditional favorites, deli selections, bakery items and ice cream. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and a variety of snacks, the world Premier Food Court is open everyday until midnight and serves breakfast until 11:00 am. Widescreen televisions feature Disney animated shows during your dining time.
Silver Screen Spirits Pool Bar – Located next to the Fantasia Pool, this brightly colored kiosks offers specialty adult cocktails, draft beer, wine and sangria for its guests who want to relax and unwind while the kiddos splash in the pool. One of the favorites is the Skinny Girl Mojito. It’s delish!
In-Room Pizza Delivery – Order an easy meal the whole family will enjoy and have it delivered directly to your room. Pizzas, wings, desserts and beverage are delivered right to your door from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am at the All-Star Movies Resort.
Pools – Take a refreshing dip in either one of two themed pools that are overflowing with fun. The Fantasia Pool is the main pool at the resort and is located between the Fantasia buildings and Cinema Hall. Cool off as Sorcerer Mickey magically directs his aqua symphony with sprays of water from his hands or let the kids splash in the separate kiddie pool.
Located between the Mighty Ducks area is the hockey themed Duck Pond pool. Designed as a hockey rink, this pool is adorned with face-off circles surrounding the decking and the bottom of the pool where Goofy serves as the goalie. Unlike some of the other resorts on the Walt Disney property, this resort does not offer any water slides or hot tubs for its guests.
Playground – Located between the Fantasia and Toy Story buildings, kids can run and play in a safe environment featuring soft and textured surfaces, swings, tunnels and slides designed just for them.
Reel Fun Arcade – Open from 7:00 am to 1:00 am, this arcade offers state-of-the-art video games for kids enjoyment. The games require a Game Card that can be obtained at the kiosk in the arcade, are rechargeable and can be used at other Disney resorts. Guests with a Magic Your Way package receive 100 credits for gaming. Some of the games in the Reel Fun Arcade reward players with tickets that can be redeemed for prizes.
Movies Under the Stars – Cozy up under the stars for a nighttime movie outdoors at the Fantasia Pool. Movies vary from night to night and a schedule can be obtained at the Guest Services desk in Cinema Hall.
Donald’s Double Feature – Located in the heart of Cinema Hall, this sweet shop features Disney merchandise including apparel and accessories, plush and toys, housewares and gifts and other Disney themed items. You can also purchase snacks, candy, photo supplies, sundries and other travel necessities. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available too. Donald’s Double Feature is also conveniently open daily from 7:00 am to 11:30 pm daily. Guests staying in the All-Star Movies resort can also have any of their purchases made in the park delivered to their resort for pick up in this location.
Disney Bus Transportation – The All-Star Movies resort shares it’s bus system with the All-Star Music and All-Star Sports resorts. The bus stop is located in front of Cinema Hall and Donald’s Double Feature and transports guests to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom. The buses also transport guests to Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and Downtown Disney. Guests that are trying to get to the Boardwalk area will either have to board a bus that is heading towards a park or Downtown Disney and transfer to a Boardwalk marked bus.
