Musical expression is always a celebrated at the All-Star Music Resort that pays homage to popular music genres, including
country, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll, calypso and Broadway-style show tunes.  This resort complex offers 2,000 rooms including family suites that are graced with oversized and wonderful musical theming.

Theming includes:

• Country – A giant pair of size 270 Cowboy Boots that stand 3 stories high, these boots are made for walkin’
• Jazz – “Jazz Inn” where giant drum set welcomes you, large saxophones and clarinets flank the buildings, silhouettes of musicians playing on the roof
• Calypso –  Conga drum covered stairwells, Xylophone bridge, 3- story tall Maracas, friends from “Three Caballeros” are the centerpiece of the pool
• Broadway – “Walk the Great White Way” and celebrate Disney musicals, Beauty and the Beast is of course on the marquee
• Rock n’ Roll – Features a gigantic juke box and electric guitars and microphones adoring the sides of the. Also offers guitar shaped swimming pool.

All of the standard rooms found at the All-Star Music Resort have either 2 double beds or one king sized bed and are approximately 260 sq ft. Maximum capacity for each room is 4 or 4 plus a small child user the age of 3 in a crib.  The family suites strike a chord with larger parties with two rooms that can accommodate up to six guests. Family suites include a bedroom with one queen-size bed and a living area with a double-size sleeper sofa, a sleeper chair and a sleeper ottoman, each opening up to a twin sized bed. Family suites also have a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms

Each standard room features brightly colored theming according to the area you are staying in and offer a small refrigerator, nightstand, wall mirror, armoire, table and 2 chairs, an open closet area, wall safe and a vanity with a single sink that is separate from the bathroom area.

The Calypso and Jazz areas are considered the “preferred” areas of the resort, are the closest to the main building and are offered at a higher nightly rate than the Country Fair, Broadway and Rock Inn area.  If you prefer a quiet area with less traffic, these areas are ideal and offer a smaller pain shaped pool area.

Dining 

Intermission Food Court – Located in the heart of Melody Hall, this 500-seat, quick-service music-themed food court offers a variety of food stations including pizza and pasta, grilled items, traditional favorites, deli selections, bakery items and ice cream.  Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and a variety of snacks, the Intermission Food Court is open everyday until midnight and serves breakfast until 11:00 am. Widescreen televisions feature Disney animated shows during your dining time.

Singing Spirits Pool Bar – Located at the guitar-shaped Calypso pool, choose from a chorus of specialty cocktails, draft beer, sangria and wine.

In-Room Pizza Delivery – Order an easy meal the whole family will enjoy and have it delivered directly to your room.  Pizzas, wings, desserts and beverage are delivered right to your door from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am at the All-Star Music Resort.

Amenities

Pools – Take a refreshing dip in either one of two themed pools that are overflowing with fun.  The Calypso pool is the main pool at the resort and is located between the Calypso buildings and Cinema Hall.   This guitar shaped pool features The Three Caballeros – Panchito, Jose and Donald Duck who shoot water at guests as the cool off in the pool.  Kids can splash in the kiddie pool located near by as well.

Located in the center of Broadway, Country Fair and the Rock in is the Piano pool. Complete with piano keys, you can tickle the ivories as you cool off in this Grand Piano shaped pool is great for families. Unlike some of the other resorts on the Walt Disney property, this resort does not offer any water slides or hot tubs for its guests.

Playground – Located near the Jazz buildings, kids can run and play in a safe environment featuring soft and textured surfaces, swings, tunnels and slides designed just for them.

Note’able Games Arcade – Located in Melody Hall, this arcade offers state-of-the-art video games for kids enjoyment. The games require a Game Card that can be obtained at the kiosk in the arcade, are rechargeable and can be used at other Disney resorts.  Guests with a Magic Your Way package receive 100 credits for gaming. Some of the games in the Note’able Games Arcade reward players with tickets that can be redeemed for prizes.

Movies Under the Stars – Cozy up under the stars for a nighttime movie outdoors at the Calypso Pool. Movies vary from night to night and a schedule can be obtained at the Guest Services desk in Melody Hall.

Shopping

Maestro Mickey’s – Located in the heart of Melody Hall, this shop features Disney merchandise including apparel and accessories, plush and toys, housewares and gifts and other Disney themed items.  You can also purchase snacks, candy, photo supplies, sundries and other travel necessities.  Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available too.  Maestro Mickey’s is conveniently open daily from 7:00 am to 11:30 pm daily.  Guests staying in the All-Star Music Resort can also have any of their purchases made in the park delivered to their resort for pick up in this location.

Services

Disney Bus Transportation – The All-Star Music Resort shares it’s bus system with the All-Star Movies and All-Star Sports resorts.  The bus stop is located in front of Melody Hall and Maestro Mickey’s and transports guests to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom.  The buses also transport guests to Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and Downtown Disney.  Guests that are trying to get to the Boardwalk area will either have to board a bus that is heading towards a park or Downtown Disney and transfer to a Boardwalk marked bus.
