A holiday tradition will grace the stage of the American Gardens Theatre once again this year. Join celebrity narrators as they tell the biblical tale of the savior born in Bethlehem while accompanied by a mass choir and a 50-piece live orchestra in an inspirational performance. The Candlelight Processional 2014 at Epcot is steeped in holiday tradition and is a special event you won’t want to miss if you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for the Christmas season.
The Candlelight Processional takes place from November 28th through December 30th. Three performances are held each evening at the American Gardens Theatre located in front of the American Adventure Pavilion. Performances are at 5:00 pm, 6:45 pm and 8:15 pm.
This year, the celebrity line up lending their voices to this holiday tradition is sure to please. Several new celebrity narrators will join the list of returning guests and include:

Candlelight Procession Dining Packages
Since this is such a popular event and given the crowd levels at Christmastime, you can imagine that seating may be hard to obtain. However, Disney offers a Candlelight Processional Dining Package that allows you to enjoy a meal at one of Epcot’s amazing restaurants that guarantees you a seat for the show. Guests with dining packages are given preferential seating and this often fills up for each performance, leaving those in the stand-by line little or no opportunity for seats.
Dining packages start at $35 per adult for lunch or $50 per adult for dinner. Prices include tax but do not include gratuity. Each guest with a dining packages receives choice of appetizer, choice of entree, non-alcoholic beverages and a choice of dessert or 1 full buffet, depending on your dining venue choice.
For those guest who are utilizing their Disney Dining Plan, the following is a list of exchanges according to your dining plan:
- Plus Dining – 2 Table-service credits
- Deluxe Dining – 2 Table-service credits
- Premium Dining – 1 credit
- Platnium Dining – 1 credit

Dining packages are paid for at the individual restaurant and guests will receive Candlelight Seating badges for their preferred seating. Due to the popularity, advance reservations are highly recommended for the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit. Park admission is required and is not included in the price of the dining package.
