Remember when! Relive the unforgettable fads of the past decades from the 1950s to the 1990s. This resort pays homage to American Pop culture with toys, dances, and fashions that made an impact on the world in the past half-century. Enjoy oversized theming according to decades like the Big Wheel, Play-Doh, Rubik’s Cubes, Giant Foosball fields and Yo-Yo around the resort grounds as well as 3 themed and whimsical pools. This resort complex offers 2,880 rooms in 10 different buildings, all dedicated to the past decades.

Classic Years Theming includes:
- 1950s – Bowling pin staircases, Lady and the Tramp statue, Transistor radio, Bowling Pin pool, a jukebox and 45rpm records
- 1960s – Yo-Yo staircases, Play-Doh, Baloo and Mowgli, oversized Hippie flowers, Peace symbols and the Hippie Dippie Pool
- 1970s – 8track tape staircases, 4-story Big Wheel, Disco dancing, Mickey Mouse telephone, mood rings and an oversized Foosball display
- 1980s – Rubik’s cube staircases, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, a giant walkman, Pac-Man, Michael Jackson and Roger Rabbit
- 1990s– Cell phone staircases, a giant laptop, floppy disks and a computer keyboard, hip-hop dance, rollerblades and a computer pool.
Consistent with the other value resorts, all of the rooms found at the Pop Century Resort have either 2 double beds or one king sized bed and are approximately 260 sq ft. Maximum capacity for each room is 4 or 4 plus a small child user the age of 3 in a crib. Maximum capacity for rooms with a king bed is 2. Each room features brightly colored theming and offer a small refrigerator, nightstand, wall mirror, armoire, table and 2 chairs, an open closet area, wall safe and a vanity with a single sink that is separate from the bathroom area.
The 1960s and 1970s areas are considered the “preferred” areas of the resort, are the closest to the main building, Classic Hall, and are offered at a higher nightly rate than the 1950s, 1980s and 1990s area. If you prefer a quiet area with less traffic, the 1990s is ideal. The 1980s and 1990s area also offers a smaller and much quieter Computer pool area.
Dining
Everything Pop Dining – Located in the heart of Classic Hall, this quick-service, brightly-colored food court offers 7 stations including grab ’n’ go items, grilled selections, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, healthy choices and ethnic cuisine. Specialties include oven-fired flatbreads and house-made desserts – think Tie-Dyed Cheesecake. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, Everything Pop is open everyday from 6 am to midnight. A full-service bar, Classic Concoctions is also located within the Everything Pop Dining hall.
Petals Pool Bar – Located next to the Hippie Dippie Pool, this brightly colored kiosk offers flower powers and specialty adult cocktails, draft beer, wine and sangria for its guests who want to relax and unwind while the kiddos splash in the pool. House specialties include the Banana Cabana or the Island Moon-Shine.
In-Room Pizza Delivery – Order an easy meal the whole family will enjoy and have it delivered directly to your room. Pizzas, wings, desserts and beverage are delivered right to your door from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am at the Pop Century Resort.

Pools – Take a refreshing dip in either one of three themed pools that are overflowing with fun. The Hippie Dippie Pool is the main pool at the resort and is located in the center of the 1960s area and Classic Hall. Enjoy a splash from the past surrounded by hippie flower water jets or let the kids splash in the separate kiddie pool located just behind the main pool.
Located in the 1950s area of the resort is the 144,000+ gallon Bowling Pin pool. And, located at the 1980s and 1990s areas is the Computer Pool, where guests can cool off to some of the coolest computer components of those decades. Unlike some of the other resorts on the Walt Disney property, this resort does not offer any water slides or hot tubs for its guests.
Playground –The playground, located in the 1960s area, gives kids the opportunity to run and play in a safe environment featuring soft and textured surfaces, swings, tunnels and slides designed just for them.
Fast Forward Arcade – Open from 7:00 am to 1:00 am, this arcade located in Classic Hall offers state-of-the-art video games for kids enjoyment. The games require a Game Card that can be obtained at the kiosk in the arcade, are rechargeable and can be used at other Disney resorts. Guests with a Magic Your Way package receive 100 credits for gaming. Some of the games in the Fast Forward Arcade reward players with tickets that can be redeemed for prizes.
Movies Under the Stars – Cozy up under the stars for a nighttime movie outdoors at the Hippie Dippie Pool. Movies vary from night to night and a schedule can be obtained at the Guest Services desk in Classic Hall.
Jogging Trail – This resort offers a one-mile trail around the Pop Century Resort for those who want to get their walk or jog in for the day.
Shopping

Everything Pop Shopping– Located in the heart of Classic Hall, this trippy shopping destination features Disney merchandise including apparel and accessories, plush and toys, housewares and gifts and other Disney themed items. You can also purchase snacks, candy, photo supplies, sundries and other travel necessities. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available too.
Everything Pop Shopping is also conveniently open daily from 7:00 am to midnight daily. Guests staying in the Pop Century Resort can also have any of their purchases made in the parks delivered to their resort for pick up in this location.

Services
Disney Bus Transportation – The Pop Century Resort bus stop is located in front of Classic Hall and transports guests to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom. The buses also transport guests to Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and Downtown Disney. Guests that are trying to get to the Boardwalk area will either have to board a bus that is heading towards a park or Downtown Disney and transfer to a Boardwalk marked bus.
