Say Bon Jour to the France Pavilion and immerse yourself in the urban ambiance that reflects springtime in Paris. Themed to look like a Paris neighborhood during La Belle Apoque or “the beautiful time,” you can stroll through a tree-lined courtyard taking in the pastel hued landscaping that lends to the Impressionistic era, and adding to the authenticity is the Eiffel tower, a one-tenth scale replica constructed using Gustave Eiffel’s original blueprints.
Wander over the Pont des Arts inspired footbridge which is reminiscent of the Seine waterfront, where you will find a studio en plein air for painters, artists and photographers adorned with flower carts. Relax with a glass of wine in the park bordering the canal that was inspired by the famous painting “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” by artist Georges Seurat. The France Pavilion also offers the finest cuisine in all of the World Showcase.
Whether you are craving french pastries, croque monsieur, or exquisite entrees, the France Pavilion celebrates the culture and the flavors of Le Chefs de France.
Take an amazing journey through France during the Impressions de France or the remarkable sights of French waiters/acrobats who amaze guests with their balance and coordination in Serveur Amusant. C’est magnifique!
