One of the best parts about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is there is something for everyone of all ages. From magical moments for the littles ones to exhilarating experiences for the thrill seekers, Disney strives to create a one of a kind experience in every park from the food down to each attraction.

We all know that Florida can bring some pretty hot and humid days, especially in the spring and summer. If you are looking for a way to take a break from the heat and spend a day relaxing and staying cool, then you must check out the Walt Disney World Resort water parks. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach are perfect for those days when you need to grab a drink, take a break by the pool and dive into some wet and wild attractions. Both water parks feature a broad range of fun including water slides, pools, themed water areas and kiddy attractions.

The water park offers some of the wettest and wildest attractions at Walt Disney World. It features 7 slides, a water coaster known as the Crush ‘n’ Gusher, a floating river and a giant wave pool. It also has a children’s play area that features different activities including slides, floating water play structures, fountains, waterfalls and animals. This area is perfect for older children who aren’t quite ready for the bigger slides.

If you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this summer, you will need to check out the Frozen Games happening now at Blizzard Beach. Food

One area that makes the Walt Disney World Resort water parks unique are the food options. While all of the Disney parks offer your typical burgers and nuggets, the water parks feature menu options that you will not find anywhere else on the Walt Disney World property. From ice cream and donuts to nachos and sandwiches, the water parks can be a great place to try something new, splurge on a treat or grab a cold drink.

One option that is popular with guests is the Sand Pail Ice Cream at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. This delicious treat features a sand pail filled with two kinds of soft serve ice cream, topped with a waffle cone and cookie pieces, hot fudge, sprinkles and cherry!  A perfect treat to indulge!
