Welcome to the United Kingdom Pavilion, a lively destination with the ambiance and the charm of jolly-old England.  Stroll down through cobblestone streets and enjoy the elegant English gardens as the scent of fish and chips fills the air. Grab a pint and relax as the kids run through the boxwood hedge maze fashioned after the Somerleyton Hall Maze built in 1846 in England.

The British village was designed to reflect different time periods blending architecture from 1500 to 1800 that takes you from the streets of London to a Shakespearean thatched roof cottage.  Here you will find buildings that reveal Victorian, Tudor, and Georgian influences.  The regal Hampton Court Palace is widely present with the attention to detail on the chimneys blacked with soot, replicas of the famed bright red UK telly booths and the exquisite English gardens.

While there is no specific “attraction” in this pavilion, the entertainment is a huge draw to guests whether it be live music from The British Revolution or the comedic group known as the “World Showcase Players” who perform humorous versions of “King Arthur and the Holy Grail” and “Romeo and Edna”, a remix of “Romeo and Juliet”. And to add to the fun, there are several characters present in the UK for meet & greets.  

The wonderful and authentic shops are also a large attraction in this pavilion.  Whether you are looking for specialty tea items, British toys like Paddington Bear or authentic Scottish kilts, you are sure to delight in the shopping choices.  Be sure to look up in some of the shops for a bit of English flair. The Crown & Crest shop boasts several suits of armor as well as shields and swords.

Attractions in United Kingdom Pavilion 

The British Revolution – Four amazing rockers who perform the best of British rock daily in the copper-topped gazebo.  Playing everything from rock to psychedelic funk, these talented blokes are likely to perform musical hits from the 1960s including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Police, The Who and even Led Zeppelin.

The World Showcase Players – Gather ‘round and participate with the pun-loving Renaissance street performers who reinact theatrical productions right on the street.  This troupe tells comical tales of King Arthur and his knights and their own rendition of Romeo and Juliet. This group is a crowd pleaser!

Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room – Offering indoor and outdoor seating, this authentic and quaint pub offers traditional pub fare including Cottage Pie, Fish & Chips and Bangers & Mash. A variety of beers and ales are offered as well as an amazing selection of scotches.  Finish off you meal with an amazing English trifle.  Relax in the pub and enjoy pints or yards of Bass Ale, Guinness Stout, Harp Lager or Caffrey’s Irish Ale. This establishment is a combination of 3 authentic pub styles found throughout the UK – the street pub, the waterfront pub, and the country pub.

Yorkshire County Fish Shop – Make a stop at this quaint little kiosk for the 2 strips of batters fish with fresh hot chips. English cookies and “draught” beer, including Bass and Harp Lager, are also available and served in a souvenir glass. Seating is available along the lagoon as well.
