New Merchandise Coming to Disney Parks

Summer is in full swing at the Walt Disney World resort and having just returned from my trip yesterday, I was pleased to see some new merchandise in the shops – some really good merchandise!

This morning, Steven Miller, Merchandise Communications Manager for Disney Parks, revealed some pretty cool merchandise that will be released later this year!  Let’s take a look at some of the new merchandise coming to Disney Parks.

Time For MagicSliders
One of the more popularly requested accessories for MagicBands at Walt Disney World Resort is a watch.  I personally love wearing my Mickey Mouse MagicBand with the Mickey Mouse slider but I find it to be a pain to wear my Mickey Mouse watch on the same wrist – it’s a little too cumbersome.  I’m happy to see that there will be two MagicSlider timepieces coming this summer – a Minnie Mouse analog timepiece and a solid one with a digital display complete with Mickey ears.  For me, the Minnie Mouse timepiece is super cute, but I am a Mickey fan so I hope that a Mickey Mouse analog slider will be in the near future.

Disney Pins From Regions Beyond
Memento Mori, the Haunted Mansion-themed shop located in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park is THE destination for new Haunted Mansion Authentic products and the inspiration for the two new open edition pins coming late summer. One pin resembles the brooch that female cast members wear in the location, while the other looks like a sign found outside the shop.  Haunted Mansion fans will definitely want to add these pins to their collection!

Cogsworth and Chef Figment
It’s about time (pun intended) a Cogsworth figurine makes its debut!  This medium-sized figurine coming this September is the perfect companion piece to the Lumiere figurine Disney released in 2013. The best part – Cogsworth’s face is a working clock and the pendulum actually swings!

Also arriving this fall is a new 12-inch Figment plush created especially for the 20th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.  Everyone’s favorite purple dragon will be available during Epcot International Food & Wine Festival  from September 25 through November 16.

Villainous T-Shirts
Coming this fall, Chernabog from Walt Disney’s “Fantasia” and Hades from Disney’s “Hercules” will be featured on new Disney Villain T-shirts.  These T-shirts offer up some pretty cool artwork created by Disney Design Group artist Dave Keefer.

Disney Holiday Ornaments
For the upcoming Christmas season, new ornaments featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse dressed in attire representing different Disney Theme Parks will be released.   The Mickey and Minnie Epcot ornament is especially cute with them wearing their spacesuits from the 1980s.

So, with all this new stuff, which one is your favorite??
