The Land Pavilion offers plenty of entertainment but also encourages it’s guests to “think environmentally”. This impressive 2.5 million square foot pavilion that is home to three attractions, a unique character dining experience and an innovative food court. Soar over the Golden State for a birds-eye view of the rich landscape and topography, take a relaxing boat ride through The Land’s innovative greenhouses or take in a fun-filled environmental movie, The Circle of Life, as Simba teaches Timon and Pumbaa about the environment.
As you enter the pavilion, the exterior is graced with mosaic designs that represent the layers of the Earth with individually shaped pieces of granite, slate, marble, glass and gold. The inside offers a multi-story
Great Hall flanked with rich hues, beautiful banners and kinetic hot air balloons inviting guests to explore agriculture and to take care of our environment. Even the walls along the Living with the Land attraction create awareness with prolific sayings of Kashmiri proverbs, Pope John Paul II and several children of the earth.

Living with the Land Attraction– This 14-minute narrated boat ride visits 4 different greenhouses with crops from around the world and sustainable high-tech horticulture. Your tour takes you through experimental growing areas such as: The Tropics Greenhouse, The Aquacell, The Temperate Greenhouse, The Production Greenhouse and The Creative House.

Soarin’ Attraction – Soar high over California in this multi-sensory experience above snow-capped mountains, magnificent redwood forests, fragrant orange groves and popular landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and Disneyland. Disney Imagineers combine cinematic artistry and state-of-the-art motion technology as guests are lifted 40 feet into a massive projection screen in a hang-gliding simulator as wind blows in your hair and you savor the scent of pines, salt air and orange groves.

The Circle of Life Attraction – When Timon and Pumbaa decide to build the Hakuna Matata Vacation Resort and are damming rivers and cutting down trees, Simba steps in to remind them about the importance of taking care of our environment. Featuring a magical mix of animation and live action, this panoramic film offers footage shot in over 30 countries.

Behind the Seeds Tour – A special one-hour tour of the 4 greenhouses and fish farms that make up The Land Pavilion. Visit the fish farm during feeding time and see American alligators, release ladybugs in the greenhouse to help protect the plants, view unusual crops from around the world and see gigantic fruits and vegetables, discover the latest growing techniques. Guest can reserve this tour at the Tour Desk located in the lower level of The Land. An additional fee of $16.00 per child and $20.00 per adult is required for this behind the scenes tour.

Dining in The Land
Sunshine Seasons – Any season is the right season for Sunshine Seasons. Offers a wide variety of market-style foods using fresh ingredients straight from The Land’s greenhouses. This food court offers stations featuring asian fare, gourmet sandwiches, soups and salads and wood-fired dishes.
For a quick service restaurant, the choices here are surprisingly gourmet and healthy as well. Chef”s specialties include vegetable lasagna, barbecue ribs and chicken, gourmet pan inis and garden-fresh salads. The fresh baked pastries and desserts in the Bakery Shop make for a perfect snack or a sweet ending to your fresh meal. Delight in such desserts as strawberry shortcake, key lime pie and chocolate mousse cake.

The Garden Grill – The Garden Grill features an all-you-care-to-enjoy feast served family-style in this rotating restaurant with character dining. Join Mickey Mouse, Chip n’ Dale and Pluto for Chip n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast for garden fresh salads and other accompaniments that compliment the chef’s
selections of rotisserie meats, sustainable fish and char-grilled filet of beef.
Pair your meal with a wonderful selection of organic wine and top it off with a delicious Harvest Skillet Cake. Enjoy the scenery as this restaurant slowly rotates with changing views of The Land pavilion and the scenes of a rainforest, farmhouse, thunderstorm, sandstorm and prairie from the Living with the Land ride.
