Countdown at Magic Kingdom® Park

The new year kicks off with fireworks galore at the Magic Kingdom Park. Along with “Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season,” you can enjoy “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks, capped off with a breathtaking musical show. Dinner at Be Our Guest


photo-49Since Be Our Guest opened in 2012 as part of Disney’s expansion of New Fantasyland, it is has been one of the most coveted reservations to gain.  Up until recently, we had only had the chance to enjoy their quick-service lunch, which, in my opinion, is one of the best in the Magic Kingdom.  A few days before we left to go to Disney World last week, I checked the My Disney Experience app just to see if by chance anything was available the evening we arrived, and much to my surprise, Be Our Guest offered two seating times.  What great luck!

Something fresh is blooming at Epcot!  The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival 2015 takes place this year from March 4 – May 17, 2015 and has something for everyone in the family offering  hands-on activities for all ages, how-to seminars from expert gardeners and Disney’s own team of master horticulturists,   An exciting lineup of pop hit makers from the ’60s and ’70s will also appear every FridaySaturday and Sunday. Admission to Epcot is required.

News About Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows


unnamedIt’s not big news that Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World has been undergoing an exciting re-imagining project. If you have been to the Polynesian in the past few months, it has been pretty obvious.  However, today, Disney released some exciting news about Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows.

The resort will include the largest Deluxe Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort. The 360 Deluxe Studios will sleep up to five Guests each and have the ability to connect to another Deluxe Studio. Plus, the new Disney Vacation Club bungalows are the first of their kind on any Disney property. The 20 bungalows will sleep up to eight Guests each in a home-like setting reminiscent of the
South Pacific.
