One Less Line to Wait in at WDW


IMG_7430Here’s some great news from the resort front.  Now there is one less line to wait in at WDW!  Starting this month, guest have the option of by-passing the lobby check-in procedures and going directly to their room.

In order to take part in this new perk, Guest must meet the following requirements:

  • Have MagicBands for the current stay in their possession.
  • Complete the online check in process
  • Be paid in full for your reservations
  • Set up a credit card on your My Disney Experience Account with a PIN
  • Provide contact information – either text or email

Monorail System Will Undergo Refurbishment

1239613_10201805758376875_291186870_nThe Walt Disney World Resort Monorail System will undergo refurbishment that will impact the Resort and Express monorail beams on select days in February and March.

The modified routes will be in effect on Feb. 3-5Feb. 9-12Feb. 23-26 and March 2-5, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. During these times, Monorails on the Resort beam will travel only between Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Magic Kingdom Park and not the Contemporary Resort.  Continue reading

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival


DSC01036Spring 2015 will burst onto the scene at Walt Disney World Resort with a fresh take on lush gardens, inspired flavors and lively entertainment during the 75-day Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival that runs from March 4-May 17.

New Disney character topiaries will salute the blockbuster animated film, “Frozen” and offer colorful selfie and family photo ops. Eleven Outdoor Kitchens with “grow your own” gardens will tempt taste buds with sweet and savory bites. Pop musicians with hits spanning four decades and multiple genres will debut the Garden Rocks Concert Series each weekend.
