The world celebrated National Popcorn Day, and Disney Parks celebrated everything popcorn.  Disney Parks guests enjoy more than 540,000 pounds of popcorn annually..that’s a lot of  kernels of buttery yellow goodness!  If you are like me, you have to grab a sleeve of it as you are coming into the Magic Kingdom Park.

To celebrate National Popcorn Day, the Disney Parks Blog released a new souvenir popcorn buckets that will be coming soon to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.   Later this year, guests will be able to purchase this cute lotus souvenir popcorn bucket.  To celebrate the new Rivers of Light show coming this spring, this popcorn bucket lights up and becomes a luminary!

Guests at the Disneyland Resort can look for a another edition of the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration 60th Anniversary Mickey Popcorn Balloons bucket, available now. The iconic Mickey-shaped bucket is available in red, blue and purple, with the added ‘Disneyland’ banner everyone knows and loves.
