There is nothing like receiving your MagicBands in the mail. When you receive them, you know your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner. But what if you are a frequent Walt Disney World visitor or even an Annual Passholder and have too many?
Receiving a new MagicBand for every trip can lead to quite the collection of MagicBands. I know I have about 40 of them all connected together in a colorful rope. What am I going to do with all of these MagicBands, put them on my Christmas tree this year? Wait…maybe that’s not a bad idea. I have often wondered why I need to receive a new band every time I book a trip – and I book anywhere from 4-6 trips a year.

Well, there is now a solution to the problem. Disney has new options for MagicBands. Now guests can select to NOT receive a new MagicBand every time they make a reservation or purchase tickets. Guests who have an active MagicBands that are less than a year old can reuse their MagicBands for future vacations.
Guest can go to the My Disney Experience website and choose whether or not the want to receive a MagicBand when making a resort reservation or purchasing tickets. This feature is only available on the My Disney Experience website and not available on any of your mobile apps.
Guests that have MagicBands that are more than a year old, however, will not be able to take advantage of this option and will have to receive another round of MagicBands.

Actually, I do use the chain of Magic bands on my Disney themed Christmas tree, and it looks awesome!
