Located just off of Hollywood Boulevard Area is Echo Lake Area, the small oval-shaped lagoon and home to a giant dinosaur named Gertie. Echo Lake Area is surrounded by several attractions and services that pays homage to its real-life Los Angeles counterpart that was used as a backdrop in a lot of Hollywood’s early films. Echo Lake Area includes three attractions based on characters and films created by George Lucas and produced by Disney’s LucasFilm Studio, Star Tours—The Adventures Continue Attraction, The Jedi Training Academy Attraction, and the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! Show. Echo Lake Area is also home to several themed eateries and shopping venues.

Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular – Go behind the scenes of an elaborate set inspired by the Indiana Jones films and watch as the stunt scenes come to life. Volunteer for the “casting call” when the casting director steps on stage to select adult volunteers. If chosen, you’ll appear as a costumed extra in select sequences of the show.

Jedi Training Academy – Calling all Jedis ages 4-12! Don a robe and pledge the Jedi Oath under the tutelage of a Jedi Master. The brilliant Star Wars fanfare stirs your spirit as you learn how to use The Force to wield your lightsaber. Your Jedi Master hones your battle skills, for you never know when you will have to defend yourself against the Dark Side.

Star Tours – The Adventures Continue – An action-packed 3D simulator set in the fictional Star Wars universe. This adventure takes guests on a turbulent ride across the galaxy, as droids C-3PO and R2-D2 attempt to safely return a member of the Rebel Alliance. The Adventures Continue takes place between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope.
