©Disney Many of you who went to the Walt Disney World Resort this summer, myself included, were disappointed that the Pirates of the Caribbean Attraction was closed for refurbishments. Disney goes to great measures to enhance and maintain fan-favorite attractions for it’s guests and at a some point or another, your favorite attraction will be under refurbishment. After being closed the whole summer, we are happy to say that Pirates of the Caribbean is now open at the Magic Kingdom Park once again.
In addition to the restoration work and new paint inside the attraction, some enhanced special effects have been added, including new cannons with water-based smoke and strobes for weather effects. There are also a handful of new scents to experience at different areas of the attraction. The Audio Animatronic figures in this fan-favorite attraction at Magic Kingdom Park have also been enhanced. Each character was rebuilt and fitted with new costumes and now appear even more realistic and authentic, including Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa. With all the new enhancements, this fan-favorite attraction is sure to leave you singing Yo ho, Yo ho. A Pirate’s life for me!
