The Mexico Pavilion at Epcot is a festive marketplace set inside a replica of a MesoAmerican pyramid.  The pyramid sits high in the skyline of the World Showcase and as you enter the pyramid, you find yourself in a gallery of artifacts from different periods of Mexican history.  As you stroll through the formal portico, you will find you have entered an authentic colorful marketplace set in the evening sky.

Discover authentic baskets, pottery and clothing in the high-spirited Plaza de los Amigos and explore the fascinating art collection of colorful folk art woodcarvings at the Animales Fantasticos: Spirits in Wood.

Dine on authentic Mexican fare in one of 3 restaurants – La Cantina de San Angel, The San Angel Inn, or La Hacienda de San Angel or sample different tequilas at La Cava del Tequila.

This pavilion makes you feel as if you have gone south of the border to experience the culture, history and cuisine of Mexico.

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros – Float along on this slow boat tour of the people and places of Mexico superimposed with animation inspired by the 1944 Disney film The Three Caballeros. Join Panchito and José Carioca as they search for their wayward friend, Donald Duck throughout this fun-filled ride for all ages. Will they find him in time for the big finale in Mexico City

Mexico Folk Art Gallery
– Animalés Fantásticos: Spirits in Wood is an exhibit honoring Oaxacan wood carvers who believe that when they carve a figure, they are unleashing the spirit of each being from each piece of wood. Watch as artisans carve and hand-paint spirit animals for you to take home as a memoir of your visit.

Mariachi Cobre – Enjoy the sounds of the 12-piece band with exhilarating rhythms and classic Mexican melodies. Members play violins, guitars, and trumpets. The group is usually found outside unless the weather is bad, then you will find them inside the pavilion.

La Cantina de San AngelThis is a great spot for a fiesta on the fly.  Dine in the outdoor patio overlooking the lagoon on Mexican favorites like tacos, empanadas, nachos and churros.  Cool off with frozen margaritas, ice cold beer or fruit popsicles.
