Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go to Walt Disney World without kids? When our children were younger, we absolutely loved taking them to Walt Disney World! We always had such a blast, and created so many great memories! But now they’re grown up and married with families of their own. Does this mean that trips to Disney are no longer in our future? Of course not! While my husband and I still go to Disney World with our daughters and their families, we also enjoy trips where it’s just the two of us. There is nothing better than an adults-only trip to Walt Disney World! Continue reading
How to know what attractions to FastPass or not to FastPass has as many answers as there are touring plans for Walt Disney World. Each park has different needs and styles to touring so what works at one park doesn’t work as well for other parks. Continue reading
As an educator, I mostly visit Walt Disney World Resort during the warmer parts of the year while we are on break. In order to keep everyone in my family in a magical mood during our trips, one of the goals is to keep them cool. There are plenty of ways to stay cool including using misting fans, dressing in light clothing and avoiding the parks during the hottest part of the day, etc. but there are also attractions that help with a little cool down time as well. Hello. My name is Debbie, and I am a self-confessed Disney addict! I have been visiting Walt Disney World property with my family, since it opened its doors almost 46 years ago, in 1971. My family has always resided in Georgia, which meant Florida was only a car ride away.

However, being a stay-at-home Mom meant we couldn’t afford many week-long theme park trips. That’s when we began to look at how could we afford to do Disney more than once a year and on a budget. The opening of Pandora – The World of Avatar is less than two weeks away! Today we’re excited to give you a first look at the Na’vi Shaman of Songs; a character guests can spot within the Na’vi River Journey attraction.
Encountering the shaman is a highlight of this fun attraction, in which you will sail down a mysterious river hidden within a bioluminescent rainforest filled with glowing plants and fascinating creatures. The river journey culminates when Guests spot the shaman, a figure who has a deep connection to the life force of Pandora and celebrates that beautiful connection through her music.
The Na’vi Shaman of Songs is the most complicated Audio-Animatronics figure ever created by Walt Disney Imagineering. Get a closer look in the below video!
Pandora – The World of Avatar opens at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park on May 27, 2017.
