2017 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Marketplaces

The 2017 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival kicks off on Aug. 31 with several new marketplaces in Future World and around the World Showcase Lagoon.  The festival is starting early this year and the longest running festival to date running through Nov. 13 with 35 tantalizing Festival Marketplaces.

Staying Charged While at the Disney Parks

Let’s face it, we ALL love visiting the Disney Parks. There are lots of memories to be made and staying charged is key to capturing all those memories. Back when I first started going to Disney, I had my trusty Kodak camera (yes, I’m that old!), then we eventually purchased the new digital cameras, primitive as they were, looking back. As we moved into the digital age, it became necessary to either carry batteries with you or recharge them yourself. Now in the age of the “smart” phone, the traditional battery has gone by the wayside, and we find ourselves in need of “charging” stations, portable chargers, or a good old-fashioned outlet! Yes, these are the questions I get every time I tell someone I am going on a Disney Cruise. My first cruise on Disney Cruise Line was with my husband and our two adult children – I have never cruised on Disney with children. And I continue to cruise on Disney – with adults! Hear ye! Hear ye! The fare is fantastic at the Liberty Tree Tavern!

I am always searching for good sit down dining options at the Magic Kingdom.  We’ve been to Be Our Guest and the Skipper’s Cantina and enjoyed both.  Cinderella’s Royal Table is good, but not one we always want to experience.  There’s always Tony’s Town Square, but we are not big fans of their food.  Coming from a strong Italian background with amazing chefs in my life, Tony’s falls very short of good Italian food.  So, what else is there in the Magic Kingdom?  Quick service burgers and chicken tenders?  No thanks!   Continue reading
