Fourth of July at Walt Disney World

UnknownThe Fourth of July at Walt Disney World sparks patriotic entertainment for the holiday.  Tomorrow officially kicks off summer and Walt Disney World has a lot in store. The Fourth of July is just around the corner so get ready to get your red, white and blue on to celebrate Independence Day during a special tribute to the stars and stripes. It’s a two-day patriotic extravaganza as Disney Parks honor America with a Fourth of July celebration that will light up the night.

Here is a line-up of special entertainment and events throughout the parks:


Magic Kingdom – July 3rd and 4th

  • Park Hours  – 8 am to 1 am  Extra Magic Hours from 1 am to 3 am on July 3
  • Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky – a 14 minute, 360-degree fireworks extravaganza starting at 9:00 pm on July 3 and 4.

Epcot – July 4thimages

  • Meet your favorite Disney characters dressed in patriotic attire outside The American Adventure (Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Chip and Dale)
  • Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corps – Performances at 1, 2:15, 3:30, 4 and 4:45 p.m.
  • The Voices of Liberty will perform at America Gardens Theatre at 12:30, 1:45, and 3 p.m. and inside The American Adventure Rotunda at 4:15 and 5 p.m.
  • “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth,” a dazzling display of pyrotechnics at 10 p.m., followed by a heart-pounding, grand finale salute to America.
  • Don’t Look Back (Sounds Like Summer concert series)  – 5:15, 6:30, 7:45, and 9 p.m.

  • Join the party at the Sorcerer Hat with a DJ at 6 pm.
  • Mulch, Sweat & Shears will take you on a musical road trip through America – 7, 8, 9 and 10 p.m
  • “Rockin’ 4th of July Celebration” fireworks spectacular at 10:15 pm
